We all have mementos of our mother's, grandmothers. This is an opportunity to give

showcase of our past and the people who made it. We all have memories but how often
do we get to share it with the World and people who never met them.
Come, get a form of entry, and fill it out with a description of your contribution
to the show, and your families history, if applicable.
We will also at this time like to

To our artist friends,
We are pleased to inform you that
United Indians of all Tribes Foundation has secured a rare opportunity for Northwest
Native artists and craftspeople to market their products with the United Indians
brand name at a new shop within the SeaTac International Airport. We are interested
in marketing authentic hand made Native artworks, as well as reviewing Native designs
that could be developed into manufactured products. In the case of designs that
might be selected for manufacturing a licensing agreement can be arranged between
United Indians and the artisan. We are writing to encourage you to consider submitting
your artwork for possible selection and inclusion in the shop.
If you wish to have your work reviewed
for selection please send your contact information and samples to Audrey Gray-May
at United Indians at PO Box 99100, Seattle, WA 98139 or 3801 West Government Way,
Seattle, WA 98199, by March 4, 2004. United Indians is working under strict time
constraints, therefore it is crucial that we are in receipt of your submissions
by March 4th. Ms. Gray-May will provide you with a receipt for the items submitted.
She will also notify each artist once United Indians has completed the selection
process. If submissions are not selected, items can be picked up from United Indians
anytime after March 28, 2004.
Products sold in the SeaTac International
Airport will be priced very competitively. Along with your contact information,
please identify the wholesale price at which you can afford to sell your product
and make certain it is attached to any items sent to United Indians. Please be advised
that pricing must be negotiable.
Should you have any questions on
this opportunity please contact Ms. Gray-May at (206) 285-4425 extension 33. We
look forward to working with our community’s artists and craftspeople on this
opportunity to showcase and market Northwest Native products.
Sincerely,
Michelle Sanidad
